Heirloom Chest

Details:

A classic piece for storing family heirlooms or everyday items, this sturdy chest can also be used as a coffee table or bench.

It is made with 8/4 cherry wood and features walnut legs, and cast-iron handles. It is constructed with mortise and tenon and through tenons. Raised panels with matching grains line the outside of the chest, and it is finished with three coats of clear Osmo top oil (clear, food safe, and stain resistant). Inside are two removable cherry trays.
