A wonderful centerpiece for the kitchen, the Cook's Island functions as a workspace and a conversation starter!

Set on powder-coated, aluminum-spoked casters (two with brakes) this island is easily moveable, but stationary when needed. The base is constructed of 8/4 poplar, the butcher block top comprises six different 8/4 hard woods, and the piece is entirely finished with three coats of clear Osmo top coat (food safe and stain-resistant). The construction method is mortise and tenon and pinned with walnut dowels.
